Job summary

NTU's NTI-NTU Corporate Laboratory in Singapore seeks a seasoned Project Manager to drive multi-disciplinary research initiatives from initiation to closeout. You will develop plans, monitor progress, manage budgets, and coordinate with funding bodies and university partners.

The role requires 6–8 years in project management within research or multi-stakeholder settings, with CAPM/PMP certification and proficiency in MS Project/Smartsheet.

Qualifications

• Lead full project lifecycle from initiation to closeout in research settings.
• Possess MSc/Engineering/Materials Science degree; postgraduate qualification advantageous.
• Capable of using MS Project/Smartsheet/Primavera for planning and reporting.
• Experience with waterfall, agile or hybrid PM approaches in multi-stakeholder environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead the full project lifecycle from initiation and planning through execution, monitoring and closeout.
• Develop and maintain project plans, Gantt charts, milestones, resource schedules and reporting timelines.
• Monitor project progress and expenditure, including planned-versus-actual analysis.
• Coordinate with funding agencies, industry partners, University administration and researchers.
• Prepare project status reports, progress updates and financial summaries.
• Identify and mitigate risks, manage issues proactively and escalate as needed.
• Support grant administration and ensure compliance with funding agreements and policies.
