Job summary

NTI-NTU Corporate Laboratory in Singapore seeks a Project Manager to lead cross‑disciplinary research initiatives from initiation to closeout. You will develop and maintain project plans, Gantt charts, milestones, and reporting timelines while tracking progress and expenditures.

You will coordinate with funding agencies, industry partners, university administration, researchers and suppliers. The role requires strong organisational, analytical and communication skills, plus experience with

Qualifications

MSc and/or Degree in Engineering or Materials Science.
CAPM or PMP training or certification is preferred.
6–8 years of project management experience, preferably in research or multi‑stakeholder environments.
Proficiency in Microsoft Project or equivalent tools such as Smartsheet, Primavera P6 or ProjectLibre.

Responsibilities

Lead the full project lifecycle from initiation to closeout.
Develop and maintain project plans, Gantt charts, milestones, resource schedules and reporting timelines.
Monitor progress and expenditure; coordinate corrective actions.
Coordinate with funding agencies, industry partners, university administration, PI’s, researchers, engineers, suppliers and collaborators.
Prepare project status reports, progress updates and financial summaries for governance requirements.
Identify and mitigate project risks; manage issues and escalate as needed.
Support grant administration and ensure compliance with funding agreements and university policies.
