Job summary

NTU Singapore is seeking a Senior Research Fellow to develop, optimise, and validate wireless power transfer (WPT) systems for electric vehicle charging roadway applications. The SRF will contribute to Double-D coil-based WPT design, electromagnetic simulation, shielding evaluation, and laboratory validation in a multidisciplinary project with civil and electrical engineering.

You will work with PhD/MSc students and collaborators, publish findings, and support project milestones.

Qualifications

• PhD in Electrical and Electronic Engineering or closely related field.
• 5+ years of research experience in wireless power transfer or EMC/shielding.
• Proficiency in MATLAB, Python, and C/C++ for simulations and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Develop, optimise and validate Double-D coil-based WPT systems.
• Simulate WPT efficiency and electromagnetic field distribution.
• Design surfaces/dielectric matching layers to improve magnetic coupling.
• Evaluate electromagnetic shielding and lab validation; prepare technical reports.
