NTU Energy Research Institute @ NTU (ERI@N) invites applications for a Senior Research Scientist to manage the VFT-NTU IAF-ICP programs in WP4 and WP5, guiding teams to meet milestones and ensuring work is delivered on schedule.

The successful candidate will oversee research activities, liaise with stakeholders, and contribute to RFQ preparation, budget tracking, and progress reporting, leveraging extensive expertise in power electronics and energy storage.

Qualifications

• PhD in power electronics, power engineering or related field.
• 20+ years of research management and hands-on experience in power electronics, power engineering and energy storage.
• Familiarity with industrial product standards and grid codes.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Proficient in power electronics circuits, field buses, communication networks, simulations, embedded C and Python.
• Interpersonal and time-management skills.
• Ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders with international experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage WP4 and WP5 research teams and ensure objectives.
• Ensure that research outcomes meet the objective of VFT.
• Liaise with stakeholders' management and hold regular meetings.
• Prepare RFQ for procurements of components and equipment.
• Track and manage project expenses and keep progress records.
