Job summary

A*STAR - Agency for Science, Technology and Research in Singapore is seeking an experienced analog IC design engineer to contribute to the development of analog circuit blocks for next-generation optical interconnects. You will work closely with team members on circuit block design, test verification, and system integration and validation for a wide range of innovative optical interconnects.

The role includes schematic design and simulation, layout supervision, pre-tapeout design validation,

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of transistor-level analog circuit design experience with successful tapeout experience.
• Good understanding of CMOS analog and mixed-signal IC design methodologies and successful tapeout experience.
• Familiar with analog IC design and verification flow.
• Industry experience is a plus.
• Familiar with IC test equipment such as oscilloscope and spectrum analyzer.

Responsibilities

• Circuit schematic design and simulation; layout supervision; pre-tapeout design validation; test plan development and chip measurement.
• Design and tapeout temperature sensor, amplifiers, bandgap and references.
• Prepare documentation including test reports at various stages of the project.

Job description

We are looking for a candidate with analog integrated circuit design skills to contribute to the development of analog circuit blocks for next-generation high-density optical interconnects. The successful candidate will work closely with other team members for circuit block design, test verification, as well as system integration and validation for a wide range of innovative optical interconnects.

Job Requirements

• Qualification & Field of Study: Bachelor or Master degree in Electrical Engineering
• Min. Years of Experience: Minimum 3-years of transistor level analog circuit design experience with successful tapeout experience

Other Requirements (e.g. Skills, Competencies)

• Good understanding of CMOS analog and mixed-signal IC design methodologies and successful tapeout experience
• Familiar with analog IC design and verification flow
• Industry experience would be a plus
