Job summary

Yokogawa Engineering Asia PTE LTD seeks a Regional Technical Leader to drive renewable energy solutions and grid integration across Asia. You will guide architecture, engage customers, and mentor regional teams to deliver winning proposals and successful projects.

The role requires deep experience with PPC, EMS, microgrids, BESS and cyber security, plus strong collaboration with sales, engineering centers and partners to advance Yokogawa's energy portfolio.

Qualifications

• Masters or degree in Electrical, I&C, Power Engineering or Renewable Energy.
• 5–15 years of experience in Power, Renewable Energy or Utilities.
• Experience in renewable energy systems, grid integration, and technical solutioning.
• Customer-facing experience in technical sales, solution consulting or engineering support regionally.
• Hands-on experience with renewable energy control systems and BESS.
• Knowledge of utility-scale solar, wind, hydro and hybrid energy systems.
• Familiarity with PPC, EMS, Microgrid Controllers and grid interconnection.
• Cybersecurity fundamentals and architecture.

Responsibilities

• Act as regional technical authority for renewable energy generation and grid integration solutions.
• Support Local Country Offices in developing technical strategies for renewable opportunities.
• Architect integrated solutions involving PPC, EMS, Microgrid Controllers, BESS and Renewable SCADA.
• Lead technical discussions and conduct customer workshops.
• Support proposal teams in technical compliance, system architecture, and risk assessment.
• Coach and mentor regional sales engineers and proposal engineers.
