Job summary

Micron Semiconductor Asia Operations Pte. Ltd. is seeking a senior Reliability Engineer to lead the design and execution of reliability test flows and plans.

You will collaborate with Global Quality, drive qualification progress, and optimize manufacturing test strategies to reduce DPM while ensuring yield and product quality. The role requires 5+ years in semiconductors, familiarity with CMOS/DRAM, data analysis, and strong cross-functional communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering or a related field.
• 5+ years in semiconductor industry with product, testing, or reliability experience.
• Experience with CMOS technology, DRAM architecture, and device physics.
• Exposure to data analysis, statistics, and scripting tools such as Python.
• Strong problem-solving, root-cause analysis and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Develop reliability stress and test flows covering all product reliability aspects.
• Define qualification plans and drive execution progress and issue resolution.
• Reduce DPM through optimized test flows and strategy to meet KPI targets.
• Debug and identify root causes in reliability tests using EFA and PFA and drive fixes.
• Provide recommendations to fab teams for cost-reducing process conversions impacting yield.
• Manage risk with Product Managers/Leads for DPM process conversions.
• Promote innovation and AI use cases to gain competitive edge.
• Mentor and develop other engineers.
• Grow project management skills for timely delivery of solutions.
• Make final decisions on risk analysis and project prioritization.
• Collaborate with Fab, HBM teams, System Development, Quality/Reliability.
• Identify and scope AI use cases for reliability; pilot and productionize solutions.
• Apply ML techniques to reliability data for segmentation and anomaly detection.
• Coach engineers on AI adoption and embed AI into reliability workflows.
