Job summary

Zuellig Pharma, a leading healthcare solutions provider in Asia, is hiring a Senior Pharmacist (PV Lead & RA Support) in Singapore. You will act as the PV point of contact for local authorities and multinational clients, and lead safety compliance, audits, and CAPA management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Pharmacy or equivalent degree.
  • Registered and actively licensed Pharmacist with the Singapore Pharmacy Council (SPC).
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in Pharmacovigilance (PV) and/or Regulatory Affairs (RA).
  • Solid working knowledge of Singapore HSA regulations, GDP, and GMP.
  • High level of ethical responsibility, meticulous attention to detail, and excellent stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary local PV contact point for regulatory authorities (HSA), internal business units, and global clients.
  • Oversee end-to-end logging, triage, assessment, and reporting of Adverse Events, Product Quality Complaints, and Medical Inquiries within mandatory timelines.
  • Jointly review and execute PV Agreements and lead audit/inspection readiness, including managing and closing CAPA plans.
  • Perform monthly AE/PQC reconciliations, coordinate literature/medical journal monitoring, and deliver internal PV training.
  • Support local regulatory affairs operations, ensuring compliance with HSA, MOH, NEA, CNB.
  • Keep product registration numbers, licensing statuses, and material group classifications updated in SAP.
  • Serve as a back-up Responsible Person for HSA Therapeutic Products Wholesale/Import Licenses and Controlled Drugs Wholesale Licenses as needed.

Purpose of The Role:

As theSenior Pharmacist (PV Lead & RA Support), you will serve as the designatedPharmacovigilance (PV) Point of Contactand local Subject Matter Expert. You will lead safety compliance, oversee patient safety activities, manage audit readiness, and partner closely with our multinational clients on Pharmacovigilance Agreements (PVAs).

Additionally, you will support local Regulatory Affairs (RA) operations, ensuring seamless compliance with local statutory bodies (HSA, MOH, NEA, CNB) to enable smooth commercial and distribution operations.

Expectations of the Role:

Pharmacovigilance & Patient Safety (Primary Focus)

  • Act as the primary local PV contact point for regulatory authorities (HSA), internal business units, and global clients.

Regulatory Affairs & Operations Support

  • Support local commercial compliance with Singapore statutory regulations (HSA, MOH, NEA, CNB).

  • Process special access permits (Named Patient Permits, Controlled Drug & Psychotropic import permits, GN-27 routes) to prevent supply chain delays.

  • Keep product registration numbers, licensing statuses, and material group classifications updated in SAP.

  • Serve as a back-up Responsible Person for HSA Therapeutic Products Wholesale/Import Licenses and Controlled Drugs Wholesale Licenses as needed.

Requirements (Must-Have):

  • Bachelor of Pharmacy or equivalent degree

  • Registered and actively licensed Pharmacist with theSingapore Pharmacy Council (SPC).

  • At least 3 years of professional experience in Pharmacovigilance (PV) and/or Regulatory Affairs (RA).

  • Solid working knowledge of Singapore HSA regulations, Good Distribution Practice (GDP), and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP).

  • High level of ethical responsibility, meticulous attention to detail, and excellent stakeholder management skills to work effectively with multinational clients.

Advantage to Have:

  • Experience working within pharmaceutical logistics, distribution, or a multi-client agency environment.

  • Familiarity with SAP ERP and managing high-volume license verification databases (e.g., HCSA, SFA/AVS, HSA databases).

  • Strong audit preparation and technical writing skills.
