Job summary

Starhub Ltd in Singapore is seeking a Senior Executive (Dunning & Recovery) to manage legal recovery, insolvency management, and provisioning processes. You will file POD claims with Liquidators and OA, monitor progress, gather documentation, and represent the company at SCT hearings.

You will also oversee vendor relationships with DCAs and law firms, supervise BPO/offshore teams, review provisioning accounts, and prepare write-off proposals, contributing to process improvements and system

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in dunning, credit recovery, and legal insolvency workflows.
• Experience supervising BPO/offshore teams and reviewing operational submissions.
• Practical knowledge of local legal processes (POD filings, OA/Liquidator administration) and SCT hearing protocols.

Responsibilities

• Manage legal recovery and insolvency cases, including filing Proof of Debt (POD) claims with Liquidators and the Official Assignee (OA).
• Monitor, track, and provide regular progress updates on ongoing legal cases to internal stakeholders.
• Gather, compile, and verify legal documentation required for submission to external legal counsels.
• Represent the company in Small Claims Tribunals (SCT) hearings and consultations (online and in-person).
• Manage relationships with Debt Collection Agencies (DCAs) and law firms; monitoring performance metrics and reviewing billing/commission computations.
• Oversee internal dunning workflows, and common mailbox inquiries/complaints.
• Review and manage accounts under Specific Provisioning (SP) to maintain accurate provisioning
• Prepare justification paper for bad debt write-offs (WO) for management approval.
• Support process improvement initiatives, ad-hoc operational tasks, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for system enhancements
• Supervise and review the work of BPO staffs handling credit reporting, Specific Provisioning (SP), and bad debt write-off (WO) preparation.
