Job summary

WOH HUP ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a Civil Engineering professional with experience in rebar structural works to determine quantities and prepare schedules from drawings.

You will plan cutting lists, estimate steel material needs, and monitor wastage while ensuring safety practices are followed. 3-5 years of relevant experience and at least 1 completed project are requested. Qualifications

• 3-5 years of Civil Engineering experience.
• Familiar with relevant drawings, specifications, and details.
• Completed at least 1 project.
• Technical expertise and knowledge in rebar structural works.
• Good knowledge on sequence of works.
• Ability to read structural drawings in preparing rebar quantities.
• Adherence to safety practices at work.

Responsibilities

• Handle and determine quantities, shapes, sizes, and location of rods from drawings and sketches.
• Plans and prepares rebar schedule (per area) / cutting list schedule according to design specification.
• Prepare quantity of steel material needed for design execution.
• Control and minimize material wastages.
• Compile and prepare material wastage summary; generate monthly report.
• Adherence to safety practices in the workplace.
