Job summary

ZHONG HE CONSTRUCTION ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. is seeking a Site Management & Team Leadership professional to take full charge of rebar activities on our Singapore construction sites.

You will lead a team to cut, bend, handle, and fix rebars, ensuring smooth workflows and adherence to design requirements. Responsibilities include planning daily tasks, coordinating with formwork and concreting teams, managing materials, and enforcing workplace safety standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Rebar Foreman or Senior Rebar Worker in the construction industry.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to effectively lead and motivate a team of 10-20 rebar workers.
• Ability to adapt to the site environment and complete high-intensity tasks on schedule.

Responsibilities

• Take full charge of rebar activities, lead, supervise, and motivate a team of rebar workers in cutting, bending, handling, and fixing rebars.
• Plan daily tasks, ensure smooth workflow, and coordinate with other trades to avoid project delays.
• Ensure rebar works meet design requirements through quality checks and inspections.
• Develop detailed weekly and daily work plans and manage material delivery, inventory, and usage.
• Enforce workplace safety, conduct toolbox meetings, and ensure proper PPE usage.
• Maintain effective communication with project managers, client representatives, consultants, and foremen to report progress and resolve site issues promptly.

Site Management & TeamLeadership:

Take full charge of rebar activities. Lead, supervise, and motivatea teamebar workers in cutting, bending, handling, and fixing rebars.Efficiently assign daily tasks, ensure a smooth kflow, and achieve productiontargets.Planning: Provided clear technical briefings to the team to guide siteoperations.Qualiy Control & Compliance: Ensure all rebar works, includingbar size, spacing lap length, and concretecover, fully comply with designrequirements. Conduct self-inspections and prepare work for officialchecks.Progress & Material Management Develop detailed weekly and dailywork plans to ensure rebar activities arewell-coordinated with other trades(e.g, formwork, concreting) and do not delay the overall projectschedule.Manage rebar material delivery, inventory, and usage to minimizewaste.Workplace Safety: Act as the responsible person for workplace safety,enforcing the WSH Act. Conduct dailyTool Box Meetings, ensure proper use of PersonalProtective Equipment (PPE), and proactively identify andmitigate potentialhazards to maintain a safe working environment.Communication &Coordination: Serve as the primary interface for rebar works. Maintaineffectivecommunication with project managers, cient representatives, consultantengineers, and other trade foremen(e.g., Formwork Foreman) to report progressand resolve site issues promptly.

Requirements
