Neurones IT Asia Application Support Specialist (Payment Systems) joins the Payments Technology team to ensure real-time payment apps operate reliably. You will oversee deployments, troubleshoot production issues, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve automation and processes.

The role emphasizes incident management, monitoring, and support for mission-critical payment processing systems, with strong Unix/Linux, container, and scripting skills, plus knowledge of ISO 20022.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in banking application support.
• Experience in international banking or financial services environment preferred.
• Strong expertise in payment platforms or similar payment applications.
• Hands-on experience managing container-based deployments and operations.
• Solid understanding of payment messaging standards.
• Good knowledge of ISO 20022.
• Strong Unix/Linux administration and troubleshooting skills.
• Container platform management.
• Shell scripting (Bash, Korn Shell, or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Provide functional and technical support for the payment platform.
• Investigate and resolve production incidents and service disruptions.
• Ensure compliance with service level agreements (SLAs).
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders throughout incident management activities.
• Manage containerized application operations, including start, stop, restart, and configuration through automation tools.
• Manage platform upgrades, deployments, and version tracking.
• Investigate payment failures, rejections, duplicates, delays, and reconciliation issues.
• Implement and maintain monitoring and alerting capabilities to detect issues.
