Job summary

A leading public transportation company in Singapore is seeking an Engineering professional to provide solutions to reliability issues in signalling, communication, and control systems. The role requires working closely with operations and maintenance staff, drafting technical instructions, and supporting project design specifications. Ideal candidates will have a degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, strong analytical and communication skills, and experience in railway systems is an advantage. The position offers opportunities for rotating or fixed shifts.

Qualifications

  • Adept with diagnostic and reliability engineering methodologies such as Weibull Analysis.
  • Previous railway system experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Work with operations and maintenance staff to investigate defects.
  • Analyze and trend condition monitoring data to identify reliability concerns.
  • Draft technical work instructions for maintenance activities.
  • Identify cost effective technologies to enhance performance.
  • Support projects by reviewing design specifications for safety and reliability.
  • Report safety concerns at the workplace.
