Job summary

Public Service Division seeks an experienced LTA-RAOM Manager, Asset Engineering (Power & Services) to lead a team responsible for the safe, reliable and maintainable lifecycle of rail assets. You will work with Rail Operators to translate O&M insights into design improvements and oversee MV/traction and LV power system design, testing, and handover.

You will monitor asset performance, manage obsolescence and spare parts strategies, and apply AI/digitisation concepts to rail power asset

Qualifications

Knowledge of electrical power engineering.
8+ years of experience in design, installation, operation and maintenance of services and electrical installations up to 22kV; 1500V DC and 750V DC traction systems.
Knowledge of railway work environment and safety requirements.
Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

Manage a team to ensure rail assets are safe, reliable, maintainable and available throughout their lifecycle.
Collaborate with Rail Operators to feed O&M issues back to design Divisions for ongoing RTS improvements.
Review designs of medium voltage power systems, traction power systems and low voltage reticulation schemes; witness testing and commissioning.
Monitor asset condition, reliability, performance, obsolescence and spare‑part strategies; provide engineering support during handover.
