Job summary

pasona singapore pte. ltd. is seeking a seasoned Electronics Engineer to define and perform DET characterization on HDD head and media. You will lead a group of engineers, assistants, technicians, and operators to achieve department goals and ensure proper operation of Guzik DET machines.

The role requires hands-on testing, strong knowledge of HDD components, and ability to coordinate with multiple sites while maintaining ISO SOPs and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Electronics Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant work experience.
• Proficient in MS Office and strong communication and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Define and perform DET characterization on HDD head and media.
• Lead a team of Engineers, Assistants, Technicians, and Operators to meet department goals.
• Operate and troubleshoot Guzik DET machines and related testing equipment.
• Ensure uptime and manpower planning for R&D and Mass Production operations.
• Evaluate new machine technologies and prepare technical evaluation reports.
• Advance R&D of Guzik parameters to improve HDD performance.
• Plan materials budgeting, logistics and inventory control.
• Coordinate with other sites for information sharing.
• Adhere to ISO SOPs and safety practices.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
