Job summary

Megastone Holdings Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to support tendering, estimation and cost control on major projects. You will prepare Bill of Quantities, review contracts, and coordinate with clients and subcontractors.

The ideal candidate holds a Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying and has 5–8 years of tendering experience, MRT/LTA exposure preferred. You will work in a fast-paced environment, maintaining the quality system while assisting with progress claims and

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
• Minimum 5-8 years’ working experience in tendering, estimating and measurement of quantities on projects.
• MRT/LTA tendering experience is preferred.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Good negotiation, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Resourceful, independent and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation of tender submission.
• Responsible for measurement of quantities & cost estimation.
• Call quotations, compare prices and prepare bill of quantities to arrive the tender pricing.
• Study contract documents, perform measurements and prepare Bill of Quantities.
• Assist in contract administration, prepare progress claim(s) and liaise with the Client’s representative on claims and variation costs.
• Prepare budget statement monthly and review by Superior.
• Review and verify the Subcontractor’s / Supplier’s claims and prepare payment certificates and to obtain approval from relevant parties
• To maintain the Quality System in the Department;
• Be responsible for any other duties that may be assigned from time to time as your superior / Management deem fit.
