Job summary

You will analyze documents, obtain quotations, negotiate prices, manage subcontract agreements, and submit monthly progress reports. The role requires strong cost control, risk awareness, and independent work attitude.

Qualifications

• Minimum Degree in Building / Quantity Surveying.
• Minimum 5 years of local construction working experience.
• Able to work independently with minimum supervision.

Responsibilities

• Prepare measurement sheets, quantity take-offs, and all required tender submission documents, including revisions for addendums.
• Prepares comparison sheets for quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Analyze tender documents/drawings, clarify discrepancies with clients, and ensure understanding of requirements.
• Obtain quotations for rates and technical data, and negotiate prices with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Analyse project cost, including equipment, material and labour with past purchasing records.
• Identify and mitigate potential risks and cost overruns.
• Attend site visits to visualise the potential site challenges and risk management.
• Prepare sub-contract agreement and payment.
• Submit monthly report for progress payment claim.
