Job summary

Staffhub Group in Singapore is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor / Tender (M&E) to lead cost control and tendering for major mechanical and electrical projects. You will value completed works, file progress claims, prepare budgets, and monitor procurement.

Responsibilities include tender document preparation, costings, risk assessment, subcontract review, and cost control across project lifecycles. The role requires at least 5 years of M&E experience, strong negotiation and coordination skills,

Qualifications

• Min 5 years experience, preferably from M&E
• Strong negotiation and coordination skills
• Good interpersonal skills, able to communicate with people from all levels
• Good team player and able to meet tight deadlines
• Able to work independently with minimum supervision

Responsibilities

• Valuing completed works and filing of progress claims
• Monitoring of procurement process
• Preparation of budgets
• Filing of variations/ monitoring of project variations
• Advise site team on contractual issues
• Carry out quantity take-off for project including sourcing for supplier and sub-contractor, collate price for comparison
• Prepare tender and contract documents
• Prepare and analyse costings for tender
• Perform risk, value management and cost control
• Responsible for collecting, sorting, check other bidding calculation of quantities
• Accountable for reviewing tender documents, drawings and quantity taking-off
• Prepare quotations for various technical works, material, manpower etc
• Conducting site measurements
• Review and understand all plans and specifications
• Arranging meetings with subcontractors and suppliers to review the specifications, scope of works and method of construction
