Job summary

CONSTRUKT PTE LTD is seeking a capable professional to manage procurement, tendering, and project coordination on construction sites in Singapore. You will organise quotations, monitor deliveries, and assist the Project Manager with budgets, schedules, and client communications.

You will liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure timely, cost-effective project delivery while maintaining safety and quality standards on site.

Responsibilities

• Request, organise, compare, analyse, and prepare reports for quotations received.
• Purchase construction materials and rental equipment; obtain quotations and ensure competitive pricing within budget.
• Track delivery progress and material quality against the construction schedule to prevent delays.
• Assist in the tendering process.
• Assist in progress claims and payment certs for Sub-Contractors.
• Take-offs and required calculations.
• Review Contractor quotations with PM to ensure fair, reasonable pricing.
• Attend meetings and assist in determining project requirements.
• Assist PM in drafting and issuing proposals, tenders, budgets, cash flows, and preliminary schedules when required.
• Use project scheduling tools to monitor project plans, work hours, budgets and expenditures.
• Communicate relevant project information to the client and project team.
• Ensure clients’ needs are met in a timely and cost effective manner.
• Explain project plans and contract terms to all general workers, and/or clients when needed.
• Monitor and control all sub-contractors’ and Project’s budget status.
• Maintain positive relationships with Client, Architects, Consultants, Authorities, all Contractors, suppliers and any other relevant personnel.
• Maintains an organized and safe work place.
• Communicate ideas for improving company processes with a positive and constructive attitude, and for developing this attitude in others.
• Keep the Project Manager (PM) and others informed about project status and issues that may impact client relations and report to PM daily on site status.
• Any other tasks and duties as instructed by the management.
