EA RECRUITMENT PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor specialising in Tender and Pre-Contract works to join a well-established A1 building main contractor.

The role covers costing, pricing, BOQ, subcontractor quotations, tender submissions and commercial review for building projects. Candidates with stronger tender leadership may progress to Tender Manager. Defu South location with a 5-day work week and company transport from Tai Seng MRT is available.

Qualifikationen

• Strong hands-on experience in building tender / pre-contract Quantity Surveying.

Aufgaben

• Review tender drawings, specifications, BOQ and contract requirements to establish project scope.
• Prepare quantity take-offs, cost estimates, rate build-ups, tender pricing and commercial submissions.
• Source and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations and prepare commercial comparisons.
• Manage tender documentation and ensure submissions are accurate, competitive and completed within deadlines.
• Coordinate with technical and project teams on tender queries, method statements, programmes and technical submissions.
• Review tender qualifications and contractual requirements and highlight key commercial / contractual risks.
• Support tender interviews, clarifications and commercial negotiations where required.
• Upon award, review key contract documents against the tender offer and coordinate a proper handover to the Project / Contracts teams.

Career Progression Towards Tender Manager

We are looking for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor specialising in Tender / Pre-Contract works to join an established A1 building main contractor.This is a hands‑on tender role covering costing, pricing, BOQ, subcontractor quotations, tender submissions and commercial review for building projects.Candidates with stronger tender leadership experience may be considered for Tender Manager level, with basic salary up to $9,000.

Job Responsibilities

• Review tender drawings, specifications, BOQ and contract requirements to establish project scope.

Requirements

• Diploma / Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building or related discipline.
• Strong hands-on experience in building tender / pre-contract Quantity Surveying.
• Building main contractor experience is required.
• Good experience in tender pricing, cost estimation, BOQ / measurement and subcontractor quotation evaluation.
• Experience with an A1 main contractor will be highly advantageous.
• Industrial, factory, warehouse, logistics, data centre or other high-spec building tender exposure will be advantageous.
• Able to independently handle tender work and manage multiple submission deadlines.
• Good commercial awareness, communication and negotiation skills.
