Job summary

nam hong builders pte ltd is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead tendering, cost analysis and contracts administration for interior fit-out projects. The role focuses on preparing budgets, negotiating sub-contracts, and overseeing progress claims.

The ideal candidate holds a Quantity Surveying degree with 6+ years of experience, and is proficient in Excel. You will work on site with strong attention to detail and proactive project stewardship.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building or related field.
• Minimum 6 years of experience for Senior Quantity Surveyor.
• Good working knowledge of interior fit-out works or additions and alterations works.
• Proactive, meticulous and conscientious.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Lead tendering process including site walks, price take-off and submission.
• Source quotations from sub-contractors and suppliers.
• Assist in cost analysis and contracts administration.
• Prepare tender documents, evaluation reports and variation agreements.
• Prepare budgets and track project expenditures.
• Submit monthly progress claims and manage variation orders.
• Negotiate and award sub-contracts; process subcontractor claims and payments.
• Attend project meetings and tender interviews; manage materials samples.
