Job summary

mtc consulting pte. ltd. is looking for a Quantity Surveyor in Singapore to oversee project claims and budgets. The ideal candidate will prepare monthly progress claims, coordinate with site teams for documentation, and provide guidance to project staff. A degree in Quantity Surveying or related field and 5-10 years of experience in large infrastructure projects are required. The role involves monitoring costs and assisting in financial reporting, with working hours from Mon to Fri, 8.30am to 5.30pm.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of experience in large-scale infrastructure or complex building projects.
• Strong knowledge of Singapore standard contracts, including PSSCOC and SIA contracts.

• Prepare and submit monthly progress claims and cost variations accurately.
• Coordinate with site teams for documentation on claims.

• Monitor project budgets and highlight cost variances.
• Assist in preparing commercial reports and financial updates.

• Salary Range: $4500 to $6000

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with site teams to gather photos, site records, and supporting documents for EOT and Loss & Expense claims.
• Provide guidance to Project QS staff on measurement standards and claim procedures.
• Monitor project budgets and highlight cost variances to support timely corrective action.
• Assist in preparing commercial reports and financial updates for management review.

Requirements

• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• 5–10 years of experience, preferably on large-scale infrastructure or complex building projects.
