Job summary

JDA WMS PTE. LTD. is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead the commercial side of curtain wall and façade projects in Singapore. You will manage costs from tender to completion, oversee procurement, and prepare interim and final accounts.

With at least 7 years in commercial QS and a background in large-scale buildings or facades, you will negotiate contracts, certify payments, and work with SAP and other reporting systems to ensure accurate, timely project outcomes.

Qualifications

• Degree, postgraduate diploma or professional qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related built-environment discipline.
• At least 7 years in commercial quantity surveying.
• Background in large-scale buildings or façade and cladding systems is preferred.
• Hands-on command of core QS work: taking-off, variations and contract administration.

Responsibilities

• Control project costs from tender through to completion.
• Compile and submit interim progress and variation claims.
• Run procurement, from sourcing and evaluation to awarding packages to subcontractors and suppliers.
• Assess and certify subcontractor payment applications accurately.
• Negotiate and close final accounts with clients, consultants and subcontractors.
• Work with our internal reporting systems, including OA and SAP.
• Examine main contracts for risks and draft sub-contract documents.
• Write clear correspondence setting out time, cost and risk implications.
• Support the Commercial Management team on complex entitlements such as EOT, acceleration, prolongation and loss and expense.
• Join progress, commercial and technical meetings.
• Take on other duties assigned by management.
