Job summary

Search Personnel Pte Ltd invites a Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead cost control for facade and building envelope projects in a high-end engineering setting. You will manage claims, procurement, and subcontractor settlements across major commercial schemes, ensuring contractual compliance and timely reporting.

The role demands a minimum of 3 years in commercial QS with experience in large-scale facade works; hybrid coordination with clients, consultants, and subcontractors is common.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of relevant commercial Quantity Surveying experience.
• Experience handling EOT, prolongation and contractual claims would be advantageous.
• Experience in large-scale building, façade, cladding or curtain wall projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage overall project cost control and commercial matters.
• Prepare and submit progress claims, variation claims and final accounts.
• Manage procurement, including sourcing, evaluation and award of subcontractors and suppliers.
• Evaluate and certify subcontractor payment claims accurately.
• Prepare, negotiate and settle final accounts with clients, consultants and subcontractors.
• Review main contracts, identify contractual risks and prepare subcontract documentation.
• Assist in preparing EOT, acceleration, prolongation and loss/expense claims.
• Draft contractual correspondence relating to time, cost and commercial risks.
• Attend progress, commercial and technical meetings.
• Maintain project records and reporting using OA and SAP.
• Perform other commercial and quantity surveying duties as assigned.

• Position : Senior Quantity Surveyor (Facade | Commercial | Building Envelope Projects)




• Location : Genting Lane




• Working hours : 5.5-day work week | Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 6:00pm | Alternate Saturday, 9:00am to 1:00pm




• Salary (commensurate with experience) : Up to $6,500 Basic + 14 days Annual Leave + AWS + Group Hospitalisation & Surgical Insurance + Outpatient Insurance + Complimentary Annual Health Screening

• Industry : Engineering | Construction - Specializes in high-end architectural curtain walls (facades) for skyscrapers, airports, and commercial complexes.
