Job summary

CES_SDC Pte Ltd in Singapore seeks a Quantity Surveyor to manage cost planning, budgeting, and quantity take-offs for infrastructure projects. You will prepare and evaluate tenders, administer contracts, and monitor project costs.

The role requires at least 2 years of Quantity Surveying experience; a more experienced candidate may be considered for a senior position. You will liaise with procurement and suppliers to optimize costs.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Possess minimum 2 years of relevant Quantity Surveying experience within the construction industry.
• A more experienced candidate will be considered for a senior position.

• Manage cost planning, budgeting and take-offs for infrastructure projects.
• Prepare, review, and evaluate tenders, quotations, and subcontractor proposals.
• Administer contracts and ensure compliance with contractual requirements.
• Monitor project costs, variations, claims, and payment certificates.
• Prepare progress claims, subcontractor payments, and final accounts.
• Support procurement activities and liaise with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Track project expenditures and provide regular cost reports to management.
• Work with project teams to identify cost-saving opportunities and mitigate commercial risks.
• Assist in the resolution of contractual and commercial issues throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure proper documentation and maintenance of project records.
