Job summary

Bestcoat Contract Services Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to support project operations, manage progress claims, and assist with measurements and drawings. You will work closely with site teams to ensure accurate costing and timely delivery.

The role requires a Diploma in Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering, at least 3 years local experience, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Diploma in Civil Engineering, or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in a local construction firm.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and AutoCAD software.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage progress claims to ensure accurate billing and cash flow.
• Assist in taking off measurements for work completed on site to support project costing.
• Submit claims and verify claim disputes both internally and externally to resolve discrepancies.
• Assist in creating and modifying technical drawings using AutoCAD for project requirements.
• Support tender bill of quantities (BQ) preparation and take off drawings for projects on an ad hoc basis.
• Maintain and organize project documentation to support smooth operations.
• Provide site teams with project information, including server-based drawings, to facilitate project execution.
