Job summary

Takenaka Singapore Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to prepare cost estimates, variations, progress claims, and final accounts for construction projects in Singapore. The role includes performing measurements, evaluating prices, and monitoring project variations.

Applicants should have a Diploma or Degree in QS or related field with at least 5 years of relevant experience, preferably with a main contractor. Asian region experience is a plus, and proficiency in MS Office is required.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Building, Construction Management or equivalent.
• Minimum five (5) years of relevant working experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry.
• Experience working with a main contractor is preferred, preferably in building, commercial, industrial or large-scale construction projects.
• Experience on construction projects within the Asia region will be an advantage.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates and quotations for variation works and submissions.
• Valuing and preparing progress claims and payments of suppliers.
• Prepare variation orders, progress payments and claims and finalisation of accounts.
• Perform measurements for quantities.
• Evaluation of price comparison.
• Monitoring of project variations.
• Attend site and Consultant/Technical meetings.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties and responsibilities as assigned.
