Job summary

GMP Technologies (S) Pte Ltd seeks a seasoned Quantity Surveyor to drive cost control and contractual excellence on projects in Singapore. The role focuses on BOQ preparation, tender evaluations, and managing payments, variations, and final accounts.

Applicants should have a Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying with at least 8 years of relevant experience, strong Excel skills, and proven negotiation abilities.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel with strong analytical skills.
• Strong negotiation and stakeholder management abilities.
• BOQ preparation and cost estimation expertise.
• Experience with variations, claims and final accounts.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates, Bills of Quantities (BOQ), budgets and commercial tender evaluations.
• Manage contract administration, subcontractor quotations, payment claims and progress valuations.
• Assess variation orders, change requests, contractual claims and associated cost implications.
• Monitor project expenditure, cost forecasts, commitments and commercial risks.
• Verify site measurements, quantities and completed works against drawings and contractual requirements.
• Prepare and reconcile interim payments, final accounts and commercial documentation.
• Liaise with project teams, contractors, suppliers and clients on commercial matters and negotiations.
