GMP Recruitment Services (S) Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to lead cost control, procurement, and commercial management on large construction projects in Singapore. You will oversee budgets, prepare costings, and manage contracts from inception to completion, while implementing risk strategies and cost reports.

The role requires a Bachelor's in QS or CM, professional accreditation, and 8+ years' experience; proficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD is preferred.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Professional accreditation (RICS, CIOB) is often required.
• At least 8 years of working experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
• Membership in recognized Quantity Surveying professional bodies (SISV, RICS, MRICS) is a plus.
• Strong negotiation, contract management, and procurement skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD is advantageous.

Aufgaben

• Oversee project budgets and cost control.
• Conduct cost analysis and prepare cost reports.
• Manage project finances from inception to completion.
• Prepare and manage contracts, including bills of quantities.
• Review and negotiate contract amendments with subcontractors and clients.
• Handle the procurement of materials and subcontractors; negotiate terms.
• Lead preparation and submission of tenders; prepare comprehensive costing.
• Identify and manage commercial risks; develop mitigation strategies.
• Supervise junior QS staff and provide commercial advice to site teams.
• Maintain strong client relationships and provide progress updates.
