Job summary

Samwoh Corporation Pte Ltd in Singapore seeks a Quantity Surveyor to manage contract documents, measurements and the preparation of Bills of Quantities. You will assist in contract administration, handle progress claims and liaise with the Client's representative on claims and variation costs.

The role requires a Diploma/Bachelor's in Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering with at least 3 years of relevant experience, and strong analytical, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering.
• At least 3 years of related experience.
• Strong analytical, negotiation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Study contract documents, perform measurements and prepare Bill of Quantities.
• Assist in contract administration, prepare progress claims and liaise with Client's representative on claims and variation costs.
• Call quotations, compare prices and prepare Bill of Quantities for tender pricing.
• Prepare budget statements monthly and review by Superior.
• Keep Superior informed of contractual and site matters.
• Review and verify Subcontractor/Supplier claims and prepare payment certificates with approvals.
• Attend site meetings and progress claim meetings.
• Monitor project during defects liability period after completion.
• Maintain the Quality System in the Department.
• Take on other duties as assigned by superior/management.
