Job summary

Quantum Automation Pte Ltd is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor/Commercial Manager to lead budgeting, cost control and contract administration for complex construction and systems integration projects in Singapore. You will review contracts, prepare commercial reports, manage variation claims and mentor junior staff to ensure timely payments and project close-out.

The role requires 8–10 years in relevant experience, strong analytical skills, and proficiency with Excel and ERP/QS software.

Qualifications

Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building Services Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, Business or related disciplines.
Minimum8–10 years of relevant experience in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management or Contract Administration within construction/integration industries.
Experience leading commercial functions and supervising Quantity Surveying personnel.
Familiarity with standard contract forms (PSSCOC, SIA, FIDIC, NEC) and their administration.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

Responsibilities

Develop project budgets, cost plans and commercial strategies upon project award.
Monitor project costs, profitability and financial performance throughout the project lifecycle.
Prepare cost forecasts, cash flow projections and commercial reports.
Identify commercial risks and mitigate measures.
Review client contracts, subcontract agreements and tender documents.
Review and negotiate variation claims with clients and consultants.
Monitor payment certifications, project receivables and cash flow.
Lead the identification, evaluation and pricing of variation works.
Prepare monthly commercial reports for management review.
