Job summary

J DESIGN PTE. LTD. is seeking a capable Commercial Manager to oversee the financial performance of construction contracts in Singapore. You will liaise with the Commercial Manager, Project Manager and on-site teams to maximise commercial results and safeguard the company's interests.

The role requires preparing cost/value reconciliations, interim valuations, and final accounts with clients, while managing sub-contract procurement and ensuring adherence to procedures and schedules.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial management for construction contracts.
• Ability to prepare cost/value reconciliations and interim valuations.
• Experience in final accounts and sub-contractor management.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with Commercial Manager, Project Manager and site teams on contractual activities.
• Take ownership for maximising commercial results on projects.
• Prepare and agree interim valuations and final accounts with client representatives.
• Manage sub-contractor procurement and ensure procurement aligns with contract programmes.
• Maintain cost reporting, cash flow forecasting and monthly cost meetings.
• Monitor weekly costs and productivity, highlight areas of concern or loss.
