Dinbuild Construction is seeking a Quantity Surveyor in Singapore to manage the commercial and contractual aspects of construction projects. You will handle cost estimation, tender preparation, contract administration, progress claims, variations, and final accounts.

The role requires coordinating with clients, consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure cost control and proper contract management throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Relevant experience in the construction industry preferred.
• Good knowledge of construction contracts, cost estimation, tendering, and quantity measurement.
• Familiar with Progress Claims, Variation Orders, and Final Accounts.
• Good analytical, negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant QS software.

Responsabilités

• Prepare cost estimates, quantity take-offs, and tender documents for construction projects.
• Review drawings, specifications, and project requirements to ensure accurate pricing.
• Manage construction contracts and monitor contractual obligations.
• Review quotations, contracts, and commercial terms with contractors and suppliers.
• Prepare and assess progress claims and payment applications.
• Verify completed works and ensure accurate valuation of work done.
• Evaluate and manage Variation Orders (VO) and additional works.
• Monitor project costs and ensure expenditure remains within the approved budget.
• Review subcontractor and supplier quotations; negotiate prices and terms.
• Maintain good relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and clients.
• Prepare and negotiate final accounts upon project completion.
• Maintain accurate records of contracts, quotations, claims, variations, and other commercial documents.
