Job summary

ho sin construction pte. ltd. seeks a capable Quantity Surveyor cum Drafter to support project cost control, tendering, and contract administration.

You will draw AutoCAD shop drawings, prepare cost comparisons, analyze specs, quantify materials, develop budgets, obtain quotes, and manage variations and sub-contractor payments. A degree/diploma in Building and 4 years AutoCAD drafting experience are preferred; strong negotiation and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree / Diploma in Building or its equivalent.
• 4 years as AutoCAD drafter is an advantage.
• Able to work independently, meticulous, analytical with problem-solving skills, proactive, a good team player & able to meet tight deadlines.
• Having good communication and negotiation skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Must be able to draw AutoCAD shop drawings.
• Prepare and analyze cost comparison.
• Analyze project specifications, quantify materials and resources required, and prepare detailed cost estimates.
• Analyze construction plans and specifications to determine material quantities and costs.
• Develop budgets, considering labor, materials, equipment, and contingencies.
• Obtain quotations, liaise and negotiate with sub-contractors and suppliers.
• Responsible for measuring quantities and taking off.
• Prepare Variation Orders, claims, final accounts, settlement and sub-contractor payments.
• Prepare tendering works for submission.
• Prepare, negotiate, and manage contracts with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
• Mitigate risks and resolve disputes during the project.
• Able to supervise and lead two / three QS cum Drafter.
• All other QS related job.
