Job summary

HO SIN CONSTRUCTION PTE. LTD. seeks a Quantity Surveyor to support project cost control and prepare autocad shop drawings.

You will analyze project specifications, quantify materials, prepare cost estimates and budgets, obtain quotations, and manage tendering, variation orders and sub-contractor payments. Risk mitigation and contract management are key. Candidates should hold a degree/diploma in Building, with 2 years autocad drafting experience considered an advantage, and strong communication,

Qualifications

• Degree / Diploma in Building or its equivalent.
• 2 years as autocad drafter is an advantage.
• Able to work independently, meticulous, analytical with excellent problem-solving skills, proactive, a good team player & able to meet tight deadlines.
• Having a good communication and negotiation skills with attention to details character.
• Having a good project management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Draw autocad shop drawings and prepare cost comparisons.
• Analyze project specifications, quantify materials and resources, and prepare detailed cost estimates.
• Analyze construction plans and specifications to determine material quantities and costs.
• Develop budgets considering labor, materials, equipment, and contingencies.
• Obtain quotations and liaise/ negotiate with sub-contractors and suppliers.
• Measure quantities and take-offs; prepare variation orders, claims, final accounts and sub-contractor payments.
• Prepare tender submissions and manage contracts with clients, suppliers and subcontractors.
• Mitigate risks and resolve disputes during the project.

• Must be able to draw autocad shop drawings
• Prepare and analyze cost comparison
• Analyze project specifications, quantify materials and resources required, and prepare detailed cost estimates.
• Analyze construction plans and specifications to determine material quantities and costs
• Develop budgets, considering factors such as labor, materials, equipment, and contingencies
• Obtaining quotations, liaising and negotiate with sub-contractors and suppliers
• Responsible for measuring quantities and taking off
• Prepare Variation Orders, claims, final accounts, settlement and sub-contractor payments
• Prepare tendering works for submission
• Prepare, negotiate, and manage contracts with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors
• Mitigate risks and resolve disputes during the project.

Job Requirements:
