Job summary

HRNET VENTURES PTE. LTD. is seeking a Quantity Surveyor for our HQ-based team in Tai Seng, Singapore. The role involves preparing tender documents, cost estimates, and progress valuations, while developing procurement strategies and managing contracts.

You will liaise with clients and stakeholders to ensure timely, cost-effective project delivery and mentorship to junior QS staff, with opportunities across commercial and fit-out projects.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying or related discipline.
• At least 2 years of relevant Quantity Surveying experience.
• Experience managing QS activities from pre-tender through to final account is preferred.
• Knowledge of commercial and/or office fit-out projects is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, communication, and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review tender documents, bills of quantities, and cost estimates
• Develop procurement strategies and evaluate subcontractor quotations
• Conduct site measurements and verify progress valuations
• Monitor project budgets, cash flow forecasts, and cost reports
• Manage variation orders, progress claims, and final account settlements
• Administer contracts and ensure compliance with contractual obligations
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior Quantity Surveyors
• Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery
