Job summary

A construction company in Singapore is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to prepare tender quotations, evaluate pricing, and perform site measurements. Ideal candidates should hold a Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field and possess good communication skills in English and Chinese. Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree Holders in Quantity Surveying/Building or equivalent from a recognized Institution/University.
• Required language(s): English, Chinese for easier communication with China Supplier.
• 0-2 Year(s) of working experience in the related field, entry level candidates are welcome.
• Familiar with building construction, Knowledge of building condition of contract.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of tender quotation including quantities and procurement.
• Evaluation of price comparison and costing.
• Preparation of interim valuations and final accounts.
• Carry out site measurement.
• Handling of sub-contractor’s progress payments.
• Other quantity surveying related duties.

• Preparation of tender quotation, which consists of taking off quantities, procurement, sourcing sub-contractors & suppliers, pricing, and preparation of tender submission
• Evaluation of price comparison and costing
• Preparation of interim valuations, pricing, update claim submissions, preparation of final accounts
• Carry out site measurement
• Handling of sub-contractor’s progress payments
• Other quantity surveying related duties
