Job summary

SHUN YI CHENG CONTRACT ENGINEERING PTE LTD in Singapore seeks a seasoned Quantity Surveyor to lead cost estimation, tender preparation, and contract administration across multiple sites. Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in construction or related field.
• Diploma in Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering.
• Experience with cost estimation or finance is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assist in establishing client requirements and conduct feasibility studies.
• Prepare and analyze project costings for tenders including materials, quantities, labour and time.
• Prepare tender and contract documents.
• Negotiate contracts and work schedules.
• Liaise with site managers, clients, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Allocate work to subcontractors and oversee their work at all stages of construction.
• Perform risk, value management and cost control during construction.
• Responsible for progress claims and provide advice on contractual disputes.
• Identify, analyze and develop responses to commercial and contract risks.
• Value completed work, oversee bills and certify payments to subcontractors.
• Understand the implications of health and safety regulations.

Job Requirement

• Min 5 years of relevant working experience in construction industry

• Traveling from the office to various sites as required
