Job summary

CECO Environmental is seeking an experienced QA/QC professional to join its industrial team in Singapore. The role covers mechanical, welding, and painting inspections, ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 standards and project quality documentation.

The ideal candidate will review drawings, lead audits, and drive corrective actions across large-scale industrial or oil & gas projects. With a Bachelor’s in mechanical engineering and 8+ years of QA/QC experience, you will collaborate with inspectors,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related discipline.
• Fluent in English and Mandarin.
• 8+ years of QA/QC experience in mechanical, welding, and painting.
• Experience on large-scale industrial or oil & gas projects.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, P&IDs, and specifications.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 QMS and project quality documentation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain inspection test plans (ITPs), work procedures, checklists, and quality records.
• Coordinate with third-party inspectors and clients for quality audits.
• Issue NCRs and track corrective/preventive actions.
• Investigate and resolve quality issues, including root cause analysis.
• Monitor and report on key quality metrics and trends.
• Coordinate with vendors to ensure quality of purchased parts and materials.
