Job summary

CHINA INTERNATIONAL WATER & ELECTRIC CORPORATION (S) PTE LTD is seeking a QA/QC professional for on-site inspection and document control on process plant projects in Singapore. The role covers welding, coating, piping and mechanical activities to ensure compliance with approved procedures and client requirements.

Qualifications

• 2+ or more years of on-site QA/QC experience in construction, welding, coating, piping or mechanical works.
• Experience with ITPs, inspection procedures, hold/witness points and NCRs.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 and client contractual requirements is preferred.
• Ability to coordinate with process engineers, vendors and site teams.

Responsibilities

• Execute day-to-day QA/QC activities on site or in fabrication workshops.
• Review project specifications and identify quality requirements for each work phase.
• Ensure construction, welding, coating, piping, or mechanical activities meet approved procedures.
• Prepare and issue inspection reports and test summaries; respond to client quality queries.
• Develop and update ITPs; identify hold, witness, and review points and acceptance criteria.
• Coordinate with clients, subcontractors and site teams to schedule inspections and address deviations.
• Provide quality briefings and support material conformance and installation checks.
