Job summary

CECO ENVIRONMENTAL ASIA PACIFIC PTE. LTD. is seeking a Quality Engineer in Singapore. This role involves ensuring that all mechanical components and welding activities meet rigorous industry standards and project specifications. You will coordinate closely with project teams and clients to resolve quality issues and maintain comprehensive quality documentation.

The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, have 8+ years of relevant QA/QC experience, and be fluent in both English and Mandarin. Knowledge of applicable standards like ISO 9001 is essential.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in QA/QC roles in mechanical, welding, and painting.
• Experience in large-scale industrial or oil & gas projects.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, P&IDs, fabrication drawings, and technical specifications.
• Knowledge of painting/coating standards and inspection techniques.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain inspection test plans (ITPs), work procedures, checklists, and quality records.
• Coordinate with third-party inspectors and clients for quality & safety audits.
• Monitor and report on key quality metrics and trends.
• Support internal and external audits (ISO, customer, regulatory).
• Ensure compliance with applicable standards such as ISO 9001, ASME, API.
