Role Description

The Senior Quality Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Woodlands, Singapore. You will own product and incoming material quality end-to-end—coordinating and performing QA/QC inspections of manufactured parts and incoming materials against contract specifications, reviewing third-party test and inspection reports, and accurately documenting all inspection, testing, and non-conformance data on time.

You will also prepare and consolidate regulatory compliance reports (CBAM, PFAS, RoHS, REACH) for customer and authority submissions, and drive corrective and preventive actions when quality gaps surface. The role involves working closely with production, engineering, and leadership to ensure quality requirements are defined, met, and continuously improved. You will also mentor junior team members and monitor key quality metrics.

This is a hands-on floor-and-desk role, not a paper-pushing exercise.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical/Quality Engineering with 3+ years of hands-on QC/QA experience in a machining or manufacturing environment, OR Diploma in Mechanical/Quality Engineering with 10+ years of equivalent experience.
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001 (ISO 14001, ISO 45001, or ISO 13485 exposure is a plus).
• Familiarity with CMM operation and basic programming.
• Understanding of physical material properties and inspection methodologies.
• Exposure to Statistical Process Control (SPC) and data analysis methods.
• Working knowledge — or strong willingness to learn — of regulatory frameworks such as CBAM, PFAS, RoHS, and REACH.
• Prior experience in MedTech, Aerospace, or Oil & Gas manufacturing is a strong advantage.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across a small, multinational team.
