Job summary

RECRUIT NOW SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. seeks a hands-on QA Engineer to support quality operations at our precision manufacturing site in Singapore.

You will collaborate with Production, suppliers, and customers to ensure product and process quality, leading QC staff and driving CAPA actions. The role requires 2–5 years in QA/QC in manufacturing, with strong skills in reading engineering drawings and applying QA methodologies; ISO 9001 knowledge is essential, with advantages for ISO 13485/AS9100D.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of QA/QC experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
• Good knowledge of QA/QC techniques, inspection procedures, and quality methodologies.
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001 is required; knowledge of ISO 13485, AS9100D, or other quality standards is an advantage.
• Familiarity with NCR, root cause analysis, CAPA, and quality investigations.

Responsibilities

• Perform and oversee product quality inspections in accordance with customer specifications and requirements.
• Lead and supervise QC Inspectors in incoming, in-process, and outgoing inspections.
• Work closely with Production to identify, investigate, and resolve quality-related issues.
• Liaise with customers and suppliers/vendors regarding quality complaints, feedback, and corrective actions.
• Initiate non-conformance investigations, conduct root cause analysis, and follow up on CAPA plans.
• Maintain and manage QMS documentation and records.
• Support internal and external quality audits.
• Ensure quality procedures and inspection activities follow company and customer requirements.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product and process quality.
• Perform other quality-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of QA/QC experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a precision engineering or similar environment.

• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents.

• Good knowledge of QA/QC techniques, inspection procedures, and quality methodologies.

• Working knowledge of ISO 9001 is required; knowledge of ISO 13485, AS9100D, or other relevant quality standards will be an advantage.

• Familiarity with NCR, root cause analysis, CAPA, and quality investigations is preferred.

• Able to lead and supervise QC personnel while working independently when required.
