Job summary

RICH CONSTRUCTION COMPANY PTE. LTD. invites an experienced Senior QAQC Engineer to lead quality assurance on large-scale building projects in Singapore.

You will supervise QAQC activities, ensure compliance with CONQUAS/QM, and coordinate with clients and consultants to address quality concerns. Candidates should have architectural or structural training, 5+ years in QAQC for major construction, and certification in CONQUAS or ISO 9001:2015.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Conduct QAQC daily checks
• Prepare monthly QAQC reports for Corporate QAQC Department
• Conduct monthly QAQC training for sub-contractors
• Issue QAQC non-compliance notices to sub-contractors
• Attend monthly QAQC presentations at Corporate QAQC Department
• Inspect works per method statements and CONQUAS requirements
• Coordinate with BCA for CONQUAS/QM assessments and liaise with clients/consultants

Job description

Responsibilities

• Conduct QAQC daily checks


• Prepare monthly QAQC report for submission to Corporate QAQC Department


• Conducting monthly QAQC Training to Sub-contractors


• Issuance of QAQC Non-compliance to sub-contractors


• Attend monthly QAQC presentation and meeting at Corporate QAQC Department


• Conduct regular inspections to ensure works are in compliance with method statements (in accordance to BCA's Good Industry Practice & approval from the clients and consultants)


• Arrange and liaise with BCA for CONQUAS/QM assessments. Act as the primary quality liaison with clients and consultants, updating them on QA/QC matters and addressing quality concerns directly related to CONQUAS scoring.


• Work closely with site engineers and supervisors to ensure construction methods comply with CONQUAS specifications, providing guidance on quality protocols and rectifications or even conducting relevant training as needed.

Job Requirements

• Architectural-trained or Structural-trained work experience


• Min 5 years' experience as a Senior QAQC Engineer in large-scale building main construction projects (e.g. A1 contractors).with added experience in managing Quality Marks assessment processes or certifications a significant advantage


• Candidates with strong relevant experience may be considered for a managerial role


• Able to communicate effectively and clearly


• Able to work independently, be meticulous, analytical with excellent problem-solving skills, proactive & able to meet tight deadlines


• Good knowledge of construction quality control/assurance is necessary


• Certifications: BCA-Approved CONQUAS training or relevant quality certification such as ISO 9001:2015 in Quality Management Systems.
