Job summary

UNIQUE PRECISION ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a seasoned QA/QC Leader to maintain and enhance the QMS, ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 and customer requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum5 years of QA/QC experience in precision engineering, CNC machining, metal manufacturing, or a related manufacturing environment.
• Minimum2-3 years in a managerial role.
• Hands-on experience with CNC milling and turning and manufacture of tight-tolerance components.
• Strong experience in ISO 9001 QMS implantation, maintenance, and audit management.
• Experience handling customer complaints, non-conformances, corrective actions, and quality improvement projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead, maintain and continuously improve the Quality Management System (QMS) to ISO 9001 and customer requirements.
• Establish quality policies, objectives, KPIs, and improvement plans aligned with business goals.
• Develop, review, and control SOPs, work instructions, control plans, and inspection procedures.
• Coordinate audits (internal, external, certification, customer) and close audit findings effectively.
• Interpret drawings, CD&T requirements, tolerances to ensure proper quality and inspection standards.
• Oversee inspection planning for FAI, in-process, and final inspections for conformity.
• Manage metrology systems including CMM, vision systems, and conventional instruments.
• Ensure calibration, traceability, and capability of inspection equipment.
• Monitor production quality with SPC and Cp/Cpk analyses for critical processes.
• Drive data-based decisions with dashboards and trend analyses.
• Lead root-cause investigations (5 Whys, Fishbone) and implement corrective actions.
• Oversee non-conformance management from containment to disposition.
• Conduct supplier quality audits and drive supplier improvement.
• Lead PFMEA and Control Plan development and reviews for critical processes.
• Drive Lean, 5S, and Kaizen to improve yield and reduce scrap.
