Job summary

RECRUIT NOW SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced Quality Control Manager for a precision engineering and CNC manufacturing environment in Singapore.

You will lead the QC function, oversee inspection stages, manage QC inspectors, and drive continual quality improvement using SPC, FMEA, and GD&T. The role requires 5+ years in precision engineering, strong leadership, and hands-on experience with CMMs.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical/Precision/Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of QC experience in CNC machining or metal manufacturing.
• Strong background in reading drawings/blueprints with GD&T expertise.
• Hands-on with CMMs and precision inspection equipment.
• Experience with FAI, SPC, CpK, Gage R&R and CAPA.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, AS9100 or equivalent quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the QC function in a precision machining environment.
• Oversee incoming, in-process, and final inspection to meet specs.
• Supervise QC Inspectors including training and performance development.
• Utilise CMM and precision tools for dimensional inspection.
• Review FAI reports and support NPI for high-tolerance parts.
• Drive NCR handling and root-cause analysis (8D/5-Why; CAPA).
• Collaborate with QA, Production, Engineering to resolve issues.
• Monitor supplier quality and participate in supplier audits.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001/AS9100 and customer requirements.
