Job summary

RECRUIT NOW SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. seeks an experienced Quality Control Manager to lead the QC function in a precision machining environment in Singapore.

The role demands a strong background in precision engineering, CNC machining, and CMM-based inspection to ensure dimensional accuracy and process control. You will oversee incoming, in-process, and final inspections, manage inspectors, review FAI reports, and drive NCR/CAPA activities while collaborating with Quality, Production, and Engineering

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Precision Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of QC experience in CNC machining, precision engineering or metal manufacturing environment.
• Strong QC background in precision engineering with machining QC experience.
• Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T.
• Hands-on experience with Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) and precision inspection equipment.
• Knowledge of FAI, dimensional inspection, process control, and quality inspection methodologies.
• Practical knowledge of SPC, CpK, Gage R&R, and FMEA.
• Experience in NCR, root-cause analysis, 8D, 5-Why, and CAPA.
• Experience in supplier quality management, vendor qualification, and supplier audits is an advantage.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001, AS9100, or other relevant quality standards.
• Strong leadership and communication skills to manage QC personnel and work cross-functionally.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the QC function within a precision machining and manufacturing environment.
• Oversee incoming, in-process, and final inspection to meet customer specs.
• Lead and supervise QC Inspectors including scheduling and training.
• Oversee use of CMM and precision measurement equipment.
• Review and approve FAI reports and support NPI documentation for high-tolerance components.
• Manage NCRs and lead root-cause investigations and CAPA actions.
• Collaborate with Quality Engineers, Production, and Engineering to resolve issues.
• Monitor supplier quality and assist in supplier/vendor qualification and audits.
• Lead supplier and external audits when required.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, AS9100, or other standards.
• Drive quality control processes to maintain consistency and reduce issues.
• Apply SPC, CpK, Gage R&R, and FMEA to monitor and improve processes.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to QC personnel.
