Job summary

BullionStar Pte Ltd is seeking a QA Engineer to ensure high quality in its web and mobile platforms. The role focuses on manual testing, API checks and performance validation in an automation-rich DevOps setting.

You will create test plans, execute cases, and collaborate with developers and product managers to mitigate risks and improve coverage. Office based in Singapore with a 5-day work week.

Qualifications

• 4–5 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and software testing methodologies.
• Strong hands-on experience in manual testing.
• Experience creating and executing test cases, test scenarios and regression test suites.
• Hands-on experience with API testing and performance testing.

Responsibilities

• Perform functional, integration, regression and exploratory testing of web and mobile applications.
• Analyse requirements and independently create test scenarios, test cases and test plans.
• Identify, investigate, document and track defects through to resolution.
• Perform regression testing for new features, bug fixes and system changes.
• Conduct API testing to validate requests, responses, status codes, data and error handling.
• Conduct performance testing, including load testing and response-time analysis.
• Work closely with developers and product managers to identify risks and ensure adequate test coverage.
• Participate in release testing and provide feedback on product quality and potential risks.
• Identify opportunities to improve QA processes, test coverage and overall product quality.
