Job summary

Vinova Pte. Ltd. in Singapore seeks a seasoned Quality Assurance Engineer to design and implement comprehensive test strategies for mobile, web, and backend applications.

You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality software delivery and drive continuous testing improvements. You will build and maintain automated test suites using modern tools, integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines, define acceptance criteria, and monitor quality metrics to reduce risk and accelerate releases.

Qualifications

• Experience developing and executing test strategies across web, mobile, and backend apps.
• Designing and maintaining automated test frameworks and suites.
• Familiarity with Playwright, Cypress, Appium, or Selenium.
• Experience testing RESTful APIs with Postman or equivalent.
• Experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
• Solid understanding of Agile practices and modern software engineering.
• Knowledge of defect management, test planning, and release validation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test strategies covering functional, integration, regression, performance, and end-to-end testing.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites for mobile, web, and backend services.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, and Software Engineers to define acceptance criteria.
• Identify, analyze, and communicate defects; assist engineers in root-cause analysis.
• Improve test automation frameworks, coverage, and quality practices.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines for reliable delivery.
• Participate in feature design to identify quality risks early.
• Perform exploratory testing to uncover issues not covered by automation.
• Define and monitor quality metrics to improve release confidence.
• Champions quality-first culture across the team.
