JPMorganChase is seeking a Senior Lead Software Engineer in the CIB Equities Technology - Prime Services team. You will contribute to agile delivery, build scalable, secure software, and collaborate with traders and researchers to improve trading workflows.

Expect leadership in AI-assisted development practices and driving standardized engineering solutions across multiple business functions. You will develop high-quality production code, mentor teams, and help advance secure coding and testing

Qualifications

5+ years of software engineering experience in capital markets.
Bachelor's degree in CS or equivalent.
Proficient in Python or Java with large-scale event-driven systems.
Experience with AI-assisted development tools and secure coding practices.

Responsibilities

Write high-quality Python code for front-office Technology Systems.
Collaborate with Traders and Quant Researchers to enhance trading workflows.
Create alignment with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Drive adoption and governance of AI-assisted engineering practices across teams.
Apply knowledge of SDLC tools to improve automation and testing.
Develop secure production code and review others' code.
Identify opportunities to automate remediation for stability and reliability.
Lead communities of practice to promote new technologies.
